Friday, December 20th, 2013 -- 12:58 PM
Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy made the expected announcement official today, ruling Aaron Rodgers out for a sixth straight week.In his press conference this afternoon, McCarthy said "As an organization we are not ready for Aaron to play."
Rodgers watched from the side as Flynn took snaps with the Packers' first team on Friday, according to ESPN.com. The same scenario played out a week earlier before McCarthy ruled Rodgers out.
Rodgers has been sidelined since suffering a fractured collarbone on Nov. 4. McCarthy said Rodgers looked "sharp" and "ready to play" in his work during Wednesday's practice, but the quarterback has yet to receive medical clearance to return.
