Two Black River Falls Youth Hockey Teams Compete at State Tournaments

The Black River Falls Squirt B youth hockey team finished 4th at the Wisconsin Amatuer Hockey Association State Tournament this past weekend in Waupun.  They beat Antigo 7-3 in their first game on Saturday, then lost to Manitowoc 7 -1.  In the 3rd Place game on Sunday they lost to Sun Prairie 8-4 to finish 4th.  Marshfield also had a team there and they finished 8th.

The Black River Falls Bantam team was also in the WAHA State Tournament in Monroe where they finished 7th.  They beat Waupun in the 7th place game 5-4 in overtime.

Both Black River River teams feature players from Neillsville and the surrounding area.
