Lindner Officially Signs With UW-Milwaukee

Neillsville senior Jenny Lindner made it official on Thursday as she signed on to play college basketball at Division 1 UW-Milwaukee.UW-Green Bay and Winona St. were also on her list along with several schools in other states. She plans to take pre-med classes in her pursuit of a career as a dermatologist.
Jenny is a two-time Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association all-state selection and two-time Cloverbelt Conference East Division player of the year. She is also currently the all-time leading scorer in girls basketball at Neillsville and will become the all-time leader in both boys and girls basketball this year. Neillsville?s record in her three years so far is 78-2.
Lindner is the first girl to go on to play Division I basketball during coach John Gaier?s time as coach of the Warriors. Neillsville is ranked No. 1 this year in Division 3 in a WisSports.net preseason poll.
The Neillsville girl?s basketball team opens up the season on Nov. 26th vs. Nekoosa.
