WIAA Sectional Girls Golf Today

Area girls golf teams and individuals will be competing in Sectionals today for a chance to play in the State Girls Golf Championships next week.In Division 2, senior Hallie Eisfeldt of Neillsville will be competing at the Edgewood Sectional at Yahara Golf Course on Tuesday. Also competing as an individual is Hannah Otteaveare of Eau Claire Regis while Osseo-Fairchild will be competing as a team. Katie Kiraly of Stanley Boyd will competing in the Somerset Sectional on Tuesday at Bristol Ridge Golf Course.
In Division 1, Marshfield and Stevens Point advanced to the LaCrosse Central Sectional as teams. They will be competing at Forest Hills Golf Course. Makayla Thomas of Wisconsin Rapids will also be competing there as an individual qualifier.
The first two teams and top three individuals, who are not members of a qualifying team, in each sectional will participate in the State Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 14-15 at University Ridge, Madison.
