WIAC Women's Golf Championship Oct. 4-6

University of Wisconsin-Stout will aim for a second consecutive title at the 2013 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Women?s Golf Championship.

The 18th assembling of league teams will be hosted by UW-Whitewater and determined over 54 holes at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course in Nekoosa, Wis., Oct. 4-6. The winner will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Championship that will be conducted May 13-16, 2014, in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.

The Blue Devils claimed their first-ever WIAC crown a season ago in the tightest race in league history - the top-three teams finished within two strokes of each other. UW-Stout was first with 1024 strokes, UW-Whitewater second with 1025 and UW-Eau Claire third with 1026. UW-River Falls placed fourth with 1073 strokes, UW-Platteville fifth with 1088, UW-Stevens Point sixth with 1130 and UW-Oshkosh seventh with 1145.
