Wisconsin Teen Wins Junior Iditarod

14-year-old musher Morgan Martens from Brule, Wisconsin, won the 2021 Junior Iditarod in Alaska on Sunday.

Martens finished first against nine other teams and won a new sled for his efforts.   His time was 27 hrs 15 min 20 sec., 24 minutes in front of the second place finisher.

The 150-mile race is designed for teens 14 to 17 years old.
