UW-Platteville Picked To Win WIAC

University of Wisconsin-Platteville has been selected to win the 2013 WIAC football championship, according to the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.The Pioneers are ranked No. 11 by D3football.com. Last year's team finished 8-2 for the best record since the 1976 campaign. UW-Platteville owns 14 WIAC championships with the most recent in 1980.
UW-Whitewater, ranked ninth by D3football.com, is slotted for second in the eight-team race.
