Varsho Sets NWL Career Win Mark

The Eau Claire Express rallied from a 4-3 deficit to defeat the Wisconsin Woodchucks 7-4 Thursday night to give field manager Dale Varsho career win number 301.A total that gives him the new Northwood's League career win record for a field manager. He passed former Waterloo and Madison manager Darrell Handelsman on the wins list.
Varsho has been with the team since its inaugural season in 2005.
It was a great night all around at Carson Park. Not only did Varsho set the record, but the Express have now won four in a row and moved into a third place tie with the Woodchucks in the South Division.
