Boys T-Ball Awards Ceremony Held

The Neillsville Rec. Department held their annual T-ball awards picnic on Wednesday at the Neillsville High School.All boys who participated in the program received certificates.
Teams and their honored players included:
Yankees - Keeghan Anding, Micah Zoschke, Nolyn McFarlane, Gavyn MacFarlane, Mark Jorgensen, Austin Gilles, Max Kreitlow and Carter Schoengarth.
Tigers - Alex Noah, Ashten Schultz, Griffin Abbott, Parker Voigt, Tyler Vance, Joe Vance, Mason Klein and Dylan Voigt.
White Sox - Derek Zschernitz, Kane Johnson, Hudson Sebesta-Opelt, Issac Berger, Cameron Waters, Austin Gross, Jack Hediger and WIll Pellowski
Dodgers - Andrew Brown, Reese McDonald, Sam Hayes, Sullivin Hanson, Conner Seif, Vaughn Seif, Hudson Hanson and Christopher Cortez.
Twins - Luke Dux, Sean Cooper, Jace Pekol, Gunnar Barth, Kolin Schmitz, Gavin Barth, Jacob Kopp and Alex Roman
Cardinals - Logan Erickson, Bryce Erickson, Danny Polzin, Joe Polzin, Dakota Polzin, Chase McDonald and Marcus Jensen.
The Neillsville Rec. Department would like to thank the volunteer coaches/instructors of the league, Coty Montgomery, Rick Gilles, Chris Sebesta, Mike Gross, Kevin Erickson, Sue and Tim Voigt, David McDonald, Bryan Dux and Regan Barth. Their dedication and expertise were very much appreciated.
Following the ceremony ice cream and rootbeer, donated by the Neillsville A & W were enjoyed by all.
T-Ball is a baseball program for boys seven and eight years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing.
