Chaparrals Split With Spooner

The Marshfield Chaparrals split a doubleheader with the Spooner Bandits on Saturday.The Chaparrals took game one 9-2 behind Ryan Metz who went 6 innings allowing no runs on 3 hits while striking out 3 and walking 8. Austin Littman went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Ryan Schwanebeck was also 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Spooner won game two 2-1. Ty Copeland took the loss going 7 innings allowing 2 runs and 1 earned, allowing 6 hits, striking out 6 walking 3.
Ryan Schwanebeck went 1 for 2 with a run scored.
The Chaparrals are now 8-3 on the season.
