Changes To Express Roster

Eau Claire Express Field Manager Dale Varsho announced today a few changes to the Eau Claire Express roster.Mike Wasilik, who appeared in four games for the Express in the past two weeks, left the team today to heal an injury, according to Express radio broadcaster Doug Raftery. However, the Express added utility man Dalton Bowers from New Mexico Junior College, the same school where Express reliever Carlos Chavez is from.
Bowers hit .327 with one home run and 16 RBIs in 32 games for New Mexico JC this spring. Drew Bridges also left the team late last week due to an injury. Bowers will take Bridges' number 19 for the remainder of the season.
