NFL Draft In May 2014

The NFL announced Tuesday that the NFL draft will be held in May instead of April in 2014, taking place from the 8th to 10th of the month at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.The league said no decision has been made on changes to dates for the 2015 draft and beyond.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said at the NFL's spring meetings in Boston last week that the league was shifting the draft to May because Radio City Music Hall is scheduled to host an Easter show in April. He also said that he expects the draft to remain in May in future years.
In addition, the NFL said Tuesday that the scouting combine in Indianapolis would be held Feb. 18-25 in Indianapolis and the 2014 league year and free-agency period would begin on March 11. The league's annual meetings will be held in Orlando on March 23-26.
