University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and UW-Whitewater earned wins in their opening games of the Whitewater Regional in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship on Wednesday.Stevens Point (36-9) claimed a 6-5 victory over Benedictine University (Ill.) in 10 innings, while Whitewater (35-7) emerged with a 2-0 triumph over Case Western Reserve University (Ohio). The Pointers and Warhawks will square off at 6 p.m. this evening.
