2013 WBCA Academic All-State Teams

Fifteen boys and fifteen girls have been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association 2013 Academic All-State team. In addition, teams that achieve outstanding academic performance are recognized as well at the WBCA All-Star game banquet the night before the all-star games in Wisconsin Dells.The annual award goes to the top senior boys and girls that display excellence in the classroom as well as on the court. Coaches nominate their players and the excecutive board votes for the award during their spring meeting.

In boys basketball, Stevens Point (3.60 cumulative GPA), Menomonie (3.64), Berlin (3.72), Edgar (3.73), and Cochrane-Fountain City (3.71) won the Team Academic All-State honors in their respective divisions.
On the girls side, Stevens Point (3.81 cumulative GPA), Rice Lake (3.73), Bloomer (3.92), Kenosha Christian Life (3.94), and Elmwood (3.85) took home the awards in their divisions for Team Academic All-State.
Area teams in the top ten in boys basketball included Auburndale #3 in Division 4.
Area teams in the top ten in girls basketball included Edgar #2 and Abbotsford #3 in Division 4 and Assumption #3 in Division 5.
