Neillsville Improves To 4-0 In ECC

The Neillsville Warrior baseball team took over sole possession of first place in the Eastern Cloverbelt with a 4-1 win at Spencer on Monday.Starter Neal Matson of the Warriors gave up 5 hits and struck out six in getting the win. Neillsville got all the runs in the 4th off starter Mitch Susa for the Rockets. The Warriors collected 8 hits in the win but did commit 3 errors on defense. Spencer stranded 9 runners on base and fell to 3-1 in conference play.
Neillsville is at Augusta today while Spencer will host Marshfield Columbus.
