Community Boxing Club Open House

Community Boxing Club of Neillsville held an Open House on April 6, inviting the community to visit the gym, meet the boxers, and watch boxing demonstrations.Rick's Boxing Gym of La Crosse attended, with the boxers from that gym joining in on the fun with sparring and bag work.
Commerative boxing gloves were presented to Jake Waltemate for his runner-up finish at the 2013 National Silver Gloves Tournament. Art work on the gloves was completed by Jeff Strangfeld.
The annual Community Boxing Club Sportsmanship award was presented for 2012 was Calvin Berger. Previous recipients of the award were Jake Waltemate in 2011 and Collin Naughton in 2010.
