Mother Nature Rules Baseball and Softball Schedules

Cloverbelt Conference Athletic Directors have made a decision on the start of girls softball and boys baseball seasons this year.With a good amount of snow still on the fields, the Conference Athletic Directors decided on Wednesday to cancel girl's softball games thru April 15th and to play them as doubleheaders in the second half.
As far as baseball games, conference commissioner Bob Houts said they could not schedule them as doubleheaders so if a team can play a game in the first half of the season, it will count as a non-conference game and games in the second half of the baseball season will count as conference games.
So instead of having 18 conference games there will only be 9 this year.
