October: National High School Activities Month

The National Federation of State High School Associations has designated October as National High School Activities Month to help schools throughout the nation promote the values inherent in high school athletic and performing arts activities.Four specific-emphasis weeks are planned within the month-long celebration including: National Sportsmanship and Fan Appreciation Week - Oct. 1st thru the 6th and National Coaches/Sponsors/Advisors/Officials Week - Oct. 15th - 20th.
