Larry Lou Polzin was born on August 9, 1957, in Racine, Wisconsin, the son of Lou and Georgia Polzin. He passed away on September 26, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones.

Larry grew up in Racine and graduated from J.I. Case High School in 1975. On October 27, 1979, he married Linda Oldham.

Throughout his working years, Larry worked as a machinist at Case, Qualheim and Andis Clippers. He also worked part-time alongside his father painting houses. While living in Racine, Larry was a member of the Belle City Sportsmen's Club and participated in a bowling league.

Larry and Linda later moved to Neillsville, Wisconsin, where he worked at WIC Homes for many years. He continued bowling and also enjoyed participating in pool and dart leagues.

Larry enjoyed the simple things in life and especially the time he spent with family and friends. He loved working on crossword puzzles, playing cards and cribbage with his family, shaking dice, and watching his beloved Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. Most of all, Larry enjoyed having a good time, sharing laughs and spending time with the people who meant the most to him.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Polzin; children, Lance (Shonda) Polzin of Loyal, Leif (Nicole) Polzin of Neillsville, Laura (Joseph) Cernik of Elk Mound, and Lane (Michelle) Polzin of Granton; brothers, Randy Polzin and Corey (Corrie) Polzin; sisters-in-law, Erdine Payne, MaryAnn Langreck and Linda Oldham; brothers-in-law, LeRoy (Vicki) Oldham, Eugene (Julia) Oldham, Jack Oldham and Gale Oldham; 10 grandchildren; seven bonus grandchildren; one great-grandson; three bonus great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lou and Georgia Polzin; and brothers-in-law, Jim Oldham, Dennis Oldham, Robert Langreck and Earl Payne.
