RHONDA M. HUSKELHUS, age 67, of Loyal, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  Funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal.  Rev. Emmanuel Famiyeh will officiate, and burial will follow in the Loyal City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Gary Huskelhus, Aaron Allen, Brandon Allen, Sky Allen, Forest Allen and Riley Allen.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10am until time of service.

Rhonda Marie Simons was born on May 26, 1958 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Gerald E. and Mary E. (Kinney) Simons.  She was raised and received her education in Clinton County, IA, graduating in 1976 from Calamus High School, in Calamus, IA.  After high school, Rhonda worked at a waitress and attended Clinton Community College studying Horticulture.  She later moved to Spencer, WI, where she worked at Fiskars until its closing.  Rhonda and her mother operated a florist shop in Spencer for a few years, before she went to work at Grassland Dairy in Greenwood, WI for 12 years until retiring and helping to take care of her sister, Marla, and her mother.

She had many interests, but especially loved flowers.

Rhonda will be dearly missed by her husband, Gary, of Loyal;  two sons: Aaron Allen of Colby, WI and Brandon Allen of Loyal; three step-children: Bradley (Jenny) Berg of Eau Claire, WI, Tina (T.J.) Smith of Middleton, WI, Grant (Alda) Huskelhus of Cave Creek, AZ; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four siblings: Gerald Simons of Medford, WI, William (Joan) Simons of Goldsboro, NC, Julie Behncke of Peoria, AZ, Jacqueline (Shawn) Sawvell of Lost Nation, IA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Marla Carson.
