Ronald R. Schiller

Age 72, of Granton, passed away in the early morning hours of
Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center after a sudden
and fierce battle with cancer.

A Funeral Service will be held privately for immediate family. The
family will hold a Celebration of Life for Ronald in the summer of
2021.

Ronald was born on June 26, 1948 in Marshfield, the son of Elroy and
Irene (Cole) Schiller. On October 26, 1968, he was united in marriage
to Janice Verna Sternitzky in Granton. He was most recently employed
as a carpenter with Pittsville Homes.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles all of his life and has owned many
different motorcycles. He enjoyed four-wheeling and testing his skills
with wood-working and making crafts. Ronald had the gift of gab and
loved to “shoot the breeze” with family and friends. He loved to play
the guitar and babysit all four of his grandkids. He will forever be
remembered for his strong work ethic, his never-ending sassy jokes,
his love for old country music, tractors, deer hunting and his love
and devotion to his wife of 52 years, his children and grandchildren.

Ronald is lovingly survived by his wife, Janice; his daughter, Lisa
(Tom) Ratsch of Granton; his son, Daniel (Claire) Schiller of
Marshfield and his grandchildren, Rikki Ratsch (Jessica Hinz), Dex,
Ivy and Finn Schiller; brothers, Dennis, Gary (Kerene), Michael
(Linda), and Terry (Patti) Schiller; sister Cindy (James) Scheunemann.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elroy and Irene; his
brothers, Randy, Thomas and Calvin Schiller.

Ronald’s arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral
Home-Spencer. Please visit www.lifetributesfuneralhome.com to share
