Dominic D. Bautch

In Loving memory of Dominic D. Bautch. Dominic passed away peacefully at his home in Strum, WI, on September 11, 2026 at the age of 82. He was born April 2, 1944, the son of Dominic and Caroline Bautch of Independence, WI. He attended Catholic school in Independence until graduation.

After graduation he went into the work force. He worked at Ashley Furniture in Arcadia, WI for a few years. After relocating to the Neillsville area he began a 24 year career with Nelson Muffler until his retirement. After retirement he worked a few part time jobs, because he always wanted to be busy. He was a very hard worker.

Dominic was united in marriage to his wife Judith (Thompson) on September 12, 1972 in Strum, WI. Together they had 6 children whom he loved very much.

He is survived by his wife Judith; his children Patrick (Katie) Bautch, Erin (Haydee) Bautch, Daniel (Wendy) Bautch, Carolee (Jeff) Barth, Samuel (Stephanie) Bautch, Andrew (Stacy) Bautch; his grandchildren Chrisitan, Gabrielle, Simeon, Luke, Jubilee, Jonathan, Faithful Bautch, Marisol (John) Krostag, Heide (JC) Rivera, Mae Bautch, Dana (Tyler) Paplham, Hunter Barth (Brittany Bergman), Hailee and Owen Bautch, and Grace Bautch; his siblings Phyllis Theisen, James Bautch, and Joe Bautch; Sister-in-Law Ardyth Robertson.

Along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dominic and Caroline Bautch; his Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law Orville and Annette Thompson; his Brother Larry Bautch;

Brother-in-Laws Albert Theisen, Adrian Thompson, and Ronald Robertson, and Grandson Noah Bautch.

Dominic enjoyed being outside working on various odd jobs and tinkering on his Farmall tractor. He could always be found making sure the wood pile was ready for winter, or

making something out of wood for one the the grandchildren. He was truly a special person that will be truly missed by many, especially his children and grandchildren that loved

him dearly. He always put others ahead of himself.

There is no funeral planned at this time.
