She was born on April 25, 1948, in Wausau, WI to Henry ‘Hank’ and Inez (Joss) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Garmon E. Berry, June 27, 1970 in Rothschild, WI. They were married until his passing in 2008.

She graduated from Bradford High School in Kenosha, WI in 1966. She also graduated from Western Wisconsin Technical College in LaCrosse with an associate degree in Accounting. Anita was also a certified lay speaker of the Methodist Church. To welcome the new millennium she expanded her horizons and went to Clown Camp in LaCrosse, WI. She then used the knowledge she gained there to entertain at her grandkids birthday parties and in her ministry as Fancy the Clown.

Anita worked at many places including Inie’s Bar and Grill, Great Lakes Naval Base, Johnson Outboard Motors, Rolling Hills Nursing Home and retired from Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin.

She became a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville in October 2022.
