ROSS F. BRILL, age 41, of Greenwood, WI, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 at his grandmother's home in Colby, WI.  A Celebration of Life is being planned for Ross this summer at Cherokee Park east of Colby.

Ross Freddrick Brill was born on October 4, 1984 in Medford, WI, to Patrick J. Brill and Julie A. Ludwig.  He was raised and received his education in Loyal, WI, graduating from Loyal High School in 2003.  After graduating from high school, Ross moved to Las Vegas, NV and worked for Las Vegas Paving, and was a heavy equipment operator, until starting his own business, Brill Concrete, which he operated until 2020.  Ross then moved to Florida and was head of maintenance & inspection for 34 Tasty Treats stores throughout Florida.  He moved back to Loyal and began working for Impact 7 as an inspector for subsidized housing, which he did until his death.

He had many interests, but especially love playing football and basketball in high school, playing summer league softball, and shooting pool with his step-father, Tank, for Chili Corners.

Ross will be dearly missed by his daughter, Rylee Ann Schneider of Marshfield, WI; his mother, Julie Oestreich of Greenwood; his father and step-mother, Patrick (Sue) Brill of Spencer, WI; his half-brother, Richard Oestreich, of Stetsonville, WI; three half-sisters: Ryssa Oestreich (Alex Utke) of Stetsonville, ReAnna Oestreich of Greenwood, WI, Kelli Brill of Cadott, WI; his niece and nephew, Adeline and Kash Utke; his dog, Flora; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Ricky Lee "Tank" Oestreich, on March 29, 2026.
