Nancy Sonderegger

 NANCY K. SONDEREGGER, age 83, of Greenwood, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Rev. Nancy Amacher officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1pm until time of service.  Burial will be held in the Greenwood City Cemetery at 11:30am on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

 Nancy Karleen Ingertila was born on December 15, 1942 in Fitchburg, MA to Waino Carl and Martha Marie (Aho) Ingertila.  She was raised and received her education in Fitchburg, graduating from Fitchburg High School in 1960.  Nancy was united in marriage to Robert A. Young in September 1960.  She and her husband drove semi-truck and raised two children.  They divorced in 1980.  Nancy later married William Allan Sonderegger, Sr. on August 15, 1992.  They resided in Ashuelot, NH until selling their house and moving to the Sonderegger farm in Greenwood, WI that was settled by her husband’s grandfather in 1932.

She has many interests, but especially enjoys gardening, flowers, word find puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, where she saw 48 states.

Nancy is survived by her son: Mark A. Young (Peggy Boop) of Goliad, TX; her step-children: Princess Blodgett, Arthur (Ronnie) Sonderegger, and William Sonderegger, Jr., all of Winchester, NH; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Tom (Kathy) Sonderegger of East Troy, WI, Gordon (Barbara) Sonderegger of Winston, SC, Paul (Theresa) Sonderegger of Newport News, VA; sisters-in-law: Shirley (Gerald) Budzinski of Wausau, WI, and Beatrice Kurth of Rothschild, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bill; her daughter: Bobbi Jo Cempe in September 2009; her sister: Irene Lehtonen; sister-in-law, Judy Stark; and brother-in-law, Duane Sonderegger.
