Cheri Becker

CHERI L. BECKER, age 67, of Loyal, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  A Celebration of Life for Cheri will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Loyal American Legion, 302 N. Union Street, from 1pm to 5pm.  She will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Albion, WI at a later date.

Cheri Lynn Becker was born on September 4, 1958 in Eau Claire, WI to Melvin E. and Bonita G. "Bonnie" (Andrus) Becker.  She was raised and received her education in Edgerton, WI, attending Edgerton Senior High School.  Throughout her life, Cheri managed several bars/dance clubs in the Madison, WI area, and in San Francisco, CA for a couple years.  After suffering injuries in an automobile accident in California, she retired and moved to Loyal in 1987.  Cheri resided in Loyal until her death.

She was a wonderful person who cherished her family and friends.  She was a very giving person, appreciated the help others gave her, and was fiercely independent, loved a good time, and socializing with others.

Cheri had many interests, but especially loved to cook; homemade pizza being one of her favorites, watching Packer and Badgers football, flowers, working out in her yard, and loved her dog, Bailey.

She is survived by her son: Jamie (Renae) Becker of Edgerton, WI; two grandchildren: Peyton and Travis Becker; three siblings: Debra Becker-Schneider of Evansville, WI,  Barbara (Rod) Hanson of Janesville, WI, Brian (Denise) Becker of Mondovi, WI; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cheri was preceded in death by her father and mother, whom she dearly loved; her brother, Norman "Tom" Becker, and her sister, Lori Knutson.
