Anna H. (Haines) Liebzeit

Anna H. (Haines) Liebzeit passed away on Friday, August 11th 2025.  Per her request there will be no funeral or public memorial service.  Anna Liebzeit was born to Robert and Gena (Helgeson) Haines on February 8,1923 in the Town of Grant, Clark County.  She graduated from the Wild Rose grade school, Granton High School and received a Teaching Certificate from The Stevens Point University.  She taught rural schools in Clark County and taught in the Neenah Public school system.

Anna married Arvin Liebzeit, who was a classmate at Stevens Point.  They were married at the United Church of Christ, rural Greenwood, on June 14th, 1947.  They farmed and were in the farm insurance business in partnership with a brother Norman and his wife Bernelda.  They retired from farming in 1983 and from the insurance business in 1986.  After retiring they moved to their cabin at Mead Lake.  Arvin passed away in 1996, Anna lived at the lake until selling the cabin in 2015 when she moved to an apartment in Marshfield.

They raised four children, three of them still living.  Their oldest daughter, Coreen Ali passed away in 2005.  Surviving are her son-in-law Fazle Ali of Brookfield WI, daughters LaVonne Liebzeit of Granton WI and Ellen (Alan) Vierthaler of Janesville WI, and a son Blaine (Lorena) of Mosinee WI.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren:  Shauncey (Kacy) Ali, Afton (Jeremy) Baier, Cassie (Matt) Wolfgram, Sacha (Luke) Helling-Christy, Jennifer (Paul) Erdman, Baird (Kelly) Liebzeit, Betheny (Keith) Seubert, and Konrad (Niki) Liebzeit, along with 21 great grandchildren: Sage and Lua Ali, Jameson and Jaxton Baier, Avi, Maliya and Vivian (deceased) Wolfgram, Alyana, River, Cyprus and Vienna Helling-Christy, Brennan and Alaia Erdman, Josslyn, Delaney and Lucille Liebzeit, Ryker, Boden, Soren and Coley Seubert, Tobias and Alexis Liebzeit, plus many neices and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a daughter, a great granddaughter, brothers: Francis, Glenn and Eugene Haines, sisters: Ella Gardner and Rebecca Goeser.
