Sharon Seefeldt

Sharon Seefeldt, age 72, of Neillsville, WI, died Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her home.

Sharon Louise Olson was born on December 29, 1951, in Spring Valley, WI, the daughter of Joel Clair and Carol Marie (King) Olson. She graduated from Elmwood High School and then earned a nursing degree from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Marshfield, WI. She was united in marriage to James Seefeldt for 40 years. Sharon worked as a registered nurse for 47 years, most of which were spent as an ER/OR nurse at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville. 

Sharon also worked as a paramedic and taught CPR classes. She enjoyed crocheting and would donate her projects, which often included hats, scarves and gloves, to charity. She especially loved making stuffed animals to give to children during their visits to the ER to help them feel more at ease. Sharon loved animals and had many pets during her lifetime. She also enjoyed researching her family tree.

She is survived by a son, James (Cassandra) Seefeldt II of Neillsville, WI, a daughter, Heidi Seefeldt of New Berlin, WI, four grandchildren, Victoria, Chloe, Cailey and Connor, her former husband, James Seefeldt of Neillsville, WI, nine siblings, Pat (Dennis) Blevins, Michael (Luanne) Olson, Barb Jahr, Nancy (Bob) Kannel, Steve (Terry) Olson, Joel (Barb) Olson, Mary (Terry) Taylor, Tom (Bonnie) Olson and Charles (Angi) Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Marvin Jahr.

Sharon’s family will greet friends and relatives from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Gesche Funeral Home, 4 South Grand Avenue, Neillsville, WI 54456.
