She was a member of York Center United Methodist Church since 1958, where she served as the church treasurer, and a member of the Loyal American Legion Auxiliary.

Arlene had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her family and friends, crafting and painting, making Halloween costumes, bowling, pitching horseshoes, and going on mission trips as a volunteer.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Marvin, of Loyal; two sons: Corey (Nicole) and Shawn (Macy), both of Loyal; two grandchildren: Paul and Scarlett Miller; one sister, Bonnie (Jerome) Becker, of Marshfield; two brothers: Jack (Barbara) Mechelke and James Mechelke, both of Loyal; Grandma Della Wojcik of Ladysmith, WI; one sister-in-law, Janis (Bob) Boehning of Marshfield; three brothers-in-law: Allen (Jan) Miller of Spencer, Leland (Debbie) Miller of Spencer, Wayne (Linda) Miller of Loyal; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
