Delores Dietz

Delores Dietz, age 77, of Granton, WI, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Three Oaks Health Services in Marshfield, WI.

Delores Mary Dietz was born on June 25, 1945, in Greenwood, WI, the daughter of Fred and Myra (Schultz) Dietz. She lived with her parents, and then later with her sister, Marjorie and John Vandeberg on their family farm. While living there, she would help with meals and watching of the children. Delores loved baking and trying new recipes. She also liked helping her sister Marjorie in the kitchen when canning season came around. 

She is survived by a brother-in-law, John Vandeberg of Granton, WI and three nieces, two nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Violet Dietz and Marjorie Vandeberg, an infant brother and sister, a nephew, Terry Vandeberg and a great nephew, Ryan Vandeberg.

A Memorial Service for Delores will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, WI. Pastor Daniel Zimmerman will officiate. She will be interred at the Town of Grant Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 16th at the Gesche Funeral Home.
