Audrey Baxter, age 81, of Neillsville, WI died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Neillsville.

Audrey Jean Knapp was born on February 6, 1940 in New London, WI the daughter of George and Martha (Brennenstuhl) Knapp. She attended school in New London and graduated from Washington High School in 1958. After finishing high school, she married Charles Ebert. They later divorced. On December 29, 1984 she married David E. Baxter Sr. in Evansville, WI. Audrey spent most of her life on a farm and enjoyed farming.

She was a member of Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors gardening and tending to her flowers.

She is survived by her husband, David, three children, Mark (Kim) Ebert, Lynn (Brian) Christensen and Jim (Dale) Ebert, Dave (Michele) Baxter Jr., Doug (Mindy) Baxter, Diane (Scott Perry) Baxter and Donna (Matt) Szydel, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren, two sisters, Mary (Daryl) Hintz, Delores Heimann and a brother, Reuben (Merna) Knapp.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Service for Audrey will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville. Pastor Steven Wentz will officiate. Kathy Meshnick will be the pianist. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 19th at the church.
