Beth was born July 13, 1965 to Robert and Cecelia (Eberhardy) Benz. She graduated from Mosinee High School in 1983 and University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in December 1987 with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science. She received her master’s in education from Viterbo University in 2009. She taught junior/senior high mathematics for 32 years at the Loyal School District. During her time there she advised numerous student groups and served on countless school committees. She enjoyed sharing math jokes with her classes, remember Hy-Pot-En-Use and Ge-Om-E-Try.

Beth married John Kaiser on June 26, 1993. They shared 28 wonderful years together. On June 28, 1995, they welcomed a daughter, Laura Beth. Beth always said, “God may have only blessed us with one, but he blessed us with the best.” Beth viewed her illness as a blessing, through it she experienced the deep love John and Laura had for her. Everyone should be so lucky to know such unconditional love.

Beth is survived by her husband, John; her daughter, Laura; her parents, Robert and Cecelia (Eberhardy) Benz of Mosinee; her mother-in-law, Marie (Mayer) Kaiser; her sisters: Nancy Benz of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Sandy (Kurt) Grunwald and children Alex, Andrea, and Adam of La Crescent, MN; her brother, Chuck Benz (Nicole Sutheimer) and children Thomas, Allisyn, Brianna, and Danika Benz of Mosinee; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Dianne (Mark) and children Collin and Molly; Rita (Kurt) Potts and children Kelly (Mark) Palmer and Shannon; Judy (Randy) Mixis and children Ben (Jenny) and sons Nolan and Archer, and Joey; Pat (Annette) Kaiser and children Ashley (Kasey) Murray and children Jaxson and Jaylah, Eric, and Michael (Ashley) and daughters Rylie and Jordyn; Monica (Roger) Collinson and children Elizabeth, Matthew, and Ella; Joanne (Rob) Roehl and children Anna and Seth Roewe; Cindy (Cory) Clark and children Connor and Caitlin. Beth was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bernard Kaiser.

God saw that she was getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around her,

And whispered, “Come with Me.”

With tearful eyes, we watched her suffer,

And saw her fade away.

Although we loved her dearly,

We could not make her stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

Your tender hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us,

He only takes “the best.”
