Black River Falls Man Arrested for Drug Charges Appears in Monroe County Court

(WEAU Staff, WEAU) A Black River Falls man arrested on suspicion of drug charges following a traffic stop in Monroe County appeared in Monroe County Court, according to WEAU staff.

According to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, on July 18, 2025, authorities stopped a vehicle in Tomah, Wis. being driven by Kevin Conant of Black River Falls, Wis. During the stop, a K9 alerted the authorities to the vehicle and authorities found 47 grams of methamphetamine.

Conant was booked into the Monroe County Jail on the suspicion of possession w/ intent amphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia, and probation hold. During his arraignment on Monday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him.
