Ascension Wisconsin and United healthcare Come to an Agreement on Patient Coverage

(Wisconsin Radio Network) Ascension Wisconsin and UnitedHealthcare have come to an agreement on patient coverage.

According to the Wisconsin Radio Network, the two parties came to a multi-year agreement after negotiations came to a stalemate on October 1st, causing concern for patients and human resource departments.

An Ascension Wisconsin spokesperson says the new agreement is effective immediately. The health provider held claims for services provided since the beginning of October.

Services received from Ascension Wisconsin during that period will be covered at in-network rates with no billing for out-of-network costs.
