SADD Hosts Annual Mock Accident for Colby Seniors

Last Thursday, SADD once again hosted the annual mock accident for seniors, an impactful and sobering tradition at Colby High School.

This year’s event was especially meaningful, as students who completed the Firefighter 1 class offered for the first time on campus through an incredible partnership with NTC, had the opportunity to assist local EMS and firefighters in managing the simulated crash.

A heartfelt thank you to Monica Tesmer for her outstanding coordination. Her efforts, along with the support of local law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, and SADD members, made the event a success once again.

Although difficult to watch, the mock accident continues to leave a lasting impact on all who experience it. The District is truly grateful to everyone who participated and helped bring this important event to life.

It’s a powerful reminder of the strength and support within the community.
