Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville Recognizes Volunteers at Auxiliary Thrift Shop and Partners Gift Shoppe

April is National Volunteer Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the contributions of volunteers.

Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville had 30 volunteers in the Auxiliary Thrift Shop and Partners Gift Shoppe. “We are extremely grateful for our volunteers,” said Sally Zillman, vice president of patient care and operations for the Neillsville region.

“They raise funds that are used to purchase vital equipment and other important items. They support the needs within our facility and keep us connected to the community we serve.”

The Auxiliary Thrift Shoppe supported projects like patient lift for the emergency department and lighting sources for endoscopes in an operating room. Some of the projects Partners include the lights of love event that raises money to provide 3-4 scholarships a year to students from surrounding high schools who are pursuing healthcare fields after graduation.
