Augusta Student Competing in Section 2 Prepared Speaking LDE Contest

Tuesday, April 8th, 2025 -- 9:00 AM

Augusta High School freshman and FFA Officer, Hazel Pilgrim, will be competing in the Section 2 Prepared Speaking LDE contest in Glenwood City.

Hazel has put in a tremendous amount of research and dedication into her speech, which will last about 6 1/2 minutes and is fully memorized. The title of her speech is "Losing Trust: The Misuse of Drugs in the Equine Industry."

Hazel's genuine passion for the equine world makes her presentation even more engaging.
