Thorp Middle School Choir Students Perform as Part of UWEC Middle School Honor Choir

Friday, January 24th, 2025 -- 12:00 PM

On Thursday, January 16, twenty-two Thorp Middle School Choir students performed as members of the UWEC Middle School Honor Choir.

These students were selected based on their outstanding talent, as well as their involvement in supplemental musical activities, including Solo & Ensemble Festival. The choir clinician was Erin L. Stier, who is the Choir Director at West Ottawa Public Schools in Holland, Michigan.

The choir performed several songs including a Spanish song, "El Cielo Cantata Alegria", and "Found/Tonight" from the Broadway musicals Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen. The students enjoyed a great day making music with friends.
