Stanley Police Department Announces Results of Holiday Meal Giveaway and Food Drive
Friday, January 24th, 2025 -- 11:00 AM
Each year since 2018, the Stanley Police Department has had the distinct honor and privilege of recapping their annual Help Handcuff Hunger food drive and holiday meal giveaway.
This year was another incredible campaign and they are so grateful for the overwhelming support of everyone that contributed in any way. From those that donated food or money to the food drive and/or holiday meals, to those at the Stanley-Boyd Area Food Pantry, Hansen’s IGA, and Stanley Family Dollar that helped organize and coordinate hundreds of items, they don’t have adequate superlatives to express our gratitude for each and every one of you.
This past holiday season they were able to deliver 26 Thanksgiving meals and 26 Christmas meals to deserving families in the community. In addition, last week, they were able to deliver 1,597 pounds of product to our local food pantry.
Financial donors during the 2024 holiday season included:

Over the past seven holiday seasons, they have been able to collect and proudly donate nearly 10,500 pounds of food, hygiene items, and other non-perishable products to the local food pantry.
In addition, they have also had the privilege of delivering 210 holiday meals to families within the Stanley-Boyd communities as a result of the generous donors.
Finally, they are so thankful to Officer Andrew Holty for his continued dedication to this philanthropic endeavor. He has been devoted to this cause since day one and the benefit that it has brought to the Stanley-Boyd community is immeasurable.
