Jessie is the Pet of the Week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Creekside Kennels and Shop south of Black River Falls. (https://www.creeksidekennelsshop.com/)

Name: Jessie

Age: 2-Years-Old

Breed: ?

Meet Jessie, the CCHS Pet of the Week! Jessie came to CCHS at the end of June from a local farm. This sweet girl is 2 years old and weighs about 45lbs currently. We are not entirely sure of Jessie’s breed makeup, but we can tell you that she is 100% a sweetheart.

She is a very pretty girl with a short-haired brown and black coat with a little white mixed in. Jessie has been adopted once, but was brought back within 2 days of adoption due to issues with the adopter’s cat. Cats aside, Jessie is super friendly and has a ton of love to give.

With any rescue dog, training is highly encouraged to set you and your new pet up for success in the future. If you have the perfect new home for Jessie (without cats!), please apply to adopt this great girl today! You can submit your adoption application for Jessie on our website: www.cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt.

We have lots and lots of animals at CCHS right now, especially dogs and puppies, so be sure to check them all out.  You are also welcome to stop in and visit with all of our animals during any of our open hours!

Do you have a love for cats and dogs and have been thinking it would be nice to help out at CCHS? Well, now's your chance! Whether it's a few hours a week, one day a month, or something in between, this is your opportunity to try it out.

We are very much in need of volunteers! You can learn more and sign up on our website: https://www.cchs-petshelter.org/volunteer or email April at [email protected]. Come join our CCHS volunteer family!

You can learn more about, and adopt, Jessie, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
