Wood County Prescription Drug Take Back Event on April 27th

A Prescription Drug Take Back Event is being held in Wood County on April 27th at multiple locations.

The locations include the Marshfield City Hall from 10am-2pm hosted by the Marshfield Police Department. The Pittsville Police Department, hosted by them, from 9am-Noon. The Port Edwards Fire Department from 11am-1pm hosted by the Port Edwards Police Department.

And the Wisconsin Rapids Pick n’ Save from 10am-2pm hosted by the Grand Rapids Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, and Wood County Sheriff’s Department. The Town of Rome, in Adams County, is also holding an event from 10am-2pm hosted by the Rome Police Department.

When dropping off prescriptions remove the labels or black out personal information. You can also put pills in a zip-top bag and keep liquids in their original containers. Drug Take Back Events are organized in partnership with Healthy People Wood CountyIMPACT and Marshfield Area Coalition for Youth (MACY).
