Fire at Colby Apartment Building

-The Colby Fire Department responded to a fire Tuesday evening in the City of Colby.The fire was reported at the Theater Apartments on Clark St., and was quickly extinguished by the fire department.
Fire Chief of Colby, Ross Rannow, said the fire caused less than $2,000 in damage to one apartment.
Rannow also said, ?It was a stove fire and the stove was removed. There was some minor damage around the area of the fire.?
No injuries were reported.
The volunteer department was able to quickly respond to the report because several firefighters were at the department Tuesday night.
Rannow said, ?The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes and we were on the scene for about an hour.?
The Abbottsford and Dorchester fire departments also responded to the scene.
