Wisconsin Transportatin Secretary in Marshfield

-Representative Scott Suder, Senator Terry Moulton, and Wisconsin Transportation Secretary Mark Gottlieb held a public meeting at the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.The purpose of the meeting was to let the public know about what the state has done regarding 'Wisconsin's' roadways and to receive feedback on how to make it better.
The secretary described many responsibilities that the DOT has including airports, freight lines, and the DMV.
Secretary Gottlieb also went in depth on safety as Wisconsin accidents have increased this year compared to last year.
The citizens and business owners that showed up for the meeting had plenty of questions and criticisms for the panel.
Some comments made included the Hwy 10 project, gas tax on more fuel efficient vehicles, weight issues for milk trucks, and bridge inspections.
