2012 State Unofficial Recall Election Results

-Here is a look at your 2012 State Unofficial Recall Election Results.

Scott Walker dominated the race against his challengers 1,331,076 votes to Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett?s 1,158,337 votes and independent challenger Hari Trivedi?s 14,332 votes.

Rebecca Kleefisch will remain Lt Governor with 1,296,916 votes to Mahlon Mitchell?s 1,150,991 votes.

For the State Senate races, the District 13 winner was Scott Fitzgerald with 47,116 votes to Lori Compas? 32,870 votes and Terry Virgil?s 760 votes.

In District 21, John Lehman won against Van Wanggaard. However, it was a very close race, 36,255 votes to 35,476 votes.

The District 23 winner was Terry Moulton with 39,843 votes against challenger Kristen Dexter who had 30,479 votes.

Finally, in District 29, Jerry Petrowski won with 44,027 votes against Donna Seidel who had 27,702 votes.

Based on these results, all Republican candidates will retain their positions.

The Associated Press says that turnout for the historic Wisconsin recall election will be more than 55 percent with over 2.4 million residents casting a vote.
