Neillsville Man Pleads No Contest

-A Neillsville man has pleaded no contest to aggravated battery and burglary charges during a home invasion.Alexander Lee, age 21, was accused of entering the home of Lance Poeschel, with accomplices, and beating him with a metal pipe and bat because Poeschel had kicked Lee out of the home they shared.
Gerald R. Fox appeared on behalf of the State and Attorney John C. Bachman appeared on behalf of Lee.
Lee was found guilty of aggravated battery, felony bail jumping, and burglary and the charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and armed robbery were dropped.
Lee?s sentencing hearing has been set for July.
