Raffle Raises Money for Kampmeyer Memorial Fund

-A fundraiser was held in memory of a firefighter who died in the line of duty. The event raised $1,720.A raffle was held by a group called Leader Central Inc. and the winning names were drawn Saturday at Sunnyvale Park in Wausau.
President and Founder of Leader Central Inc. Chad Mauk, says the money will be donated to the Jamison Kampmeyer Memorial Fund or wherever Kampmeyer's family sees fit.
Kampmeyer died in March while battling a blaze at the historic Abby Theatre in Abbotsford. He was also a Marathon County Sheriff's Deputy.
According to Leader Central Inc.'s website, its mission is "to help communities and the people in those communities at the local, state, and national level. We do this in part by helping to build and support community leaders. These community leaders are everyday people just like you!"
