-For the polka fans, the Wisconsin State Polka Festival is moving locations this year.According to the Associated Press, the festival had previously been held at a converted turkey barn in Concord. But officials say that location double booked on their preferred dates so they are having it at an Oconomowoc resort instead.
Festival chairman John Pinter says they've had a couple thousand people at past festivals and needed a bigger venue anyway.
There will be ten big bands featuring Dutchmen, Polish and Slovenian polka music. The festival runs from Friday night through Sunday night. There will also be a Friday fish bake and Sunday polka mass.
Pinter says this year they are celebrating the fact that polka is the state's official dance.
The event is organized by the Wisconsin Polka Boosters.
