Koula Motion Hearing Underway
Saturday, May 12th, 2012 -- 7:35 AM
A motion hearing was brought before a judge, at the La Crosse Law Enforcement Center, for the Eric Koula murder trial.Eric Koula, a Neillsville graduate has been accused of murdering his parents.
The point of the hearing was to see if pieces of evidence, witness testimonies, and professional opinions would be allowed. Examples include if a silencer was used, blood stains on clothing, and others.
One that was argued about for some time is whether testimony regarding the ?professionalism? of the killing should be allowed.
The defense attorney said that the killing was ?too professional? and that evidence should be allowed because if Koula had done the murder it would have been sloppy.
There is another motion hearing at the end of May and the trial begins June 4th.
