-The Page Forward program is hoping to win a $25,000 grant to make necessary improvements.Darlene and Dennis Bucheger, who have been tutors for the program for 3.5 years, go to the Clark County Jail once a week to tutor inmates and help them recieve their GED.
Darlene and Dennis said that their students are always grateful for being able to receive their GED, knowing it will help them when they are released back into the community.
The Page Forward program is one of the finalists for the Cause An Effect grant and Darlene was the one who entered the program.
If they win the $25,000 grant, they hope to get some new computers among other things.
If the Page Forward program would win the grant there are also a lot of benefits for the community.
