Friday, April 27th, 2012 -- 10:48 AM
-Ryan Winslow had a preliminary hearing in Clark County Court yesterday.Winslow is one of several individuals accused of taking part in a crime spree that spread between Clark and Wood Counties. The long list of charges filed against him includes burglary, arson, and others.
John Bachman appeared in defense of Winslow and Richard Lewis appeared on behalf of the state.
Winslow appeared by video from the Clark County Jail. He was initially going to be brought to the courthouse; however, he had injured his ankle in the rec room of the jail and appeared by video instead.
It was obvious that he was not happy about this as he answered Judge Jon Counsell?s questions with a lot of anger and exasperation.
The judge then decided that they would bring Winslow to the courtroom because of his attitude.
Winslow then fired his attorney due to a misunderstanding regarding the waiving of his preliminary hearing.
No further action was taken and a future court date of June has been set.
